Sanford Brush & Palette Club
The Mann Center is honored to serve as the home of the Sanford Brush & Palette Club. Founded in 1964, the SBPC is completely devoted to advancing the arts of all types in our community. Their activities include scholarships, art shows, Art Angels grants, and recognition of many of Sanford’s and Lee County’s most dedicated and accomplished artists of all types.
One of the SBPC’s most popular endeavors is its annual art show. This much-anticipated event is free to the public and features approximately 1,000 pieces of art in the show. With over 50 years of history to draw upon, the art show consistently attracts well over 1,000 attendees each year, who get a chance to marvel at the talents and creativity of artists right here in Lee County.
The SBPC is based in Suite 211/213 at the Mann Center. The organization’s presence and active involvement with our facility is consistent with the Mann Center’s role as the region’s Arts & Community Center. It serves as a perfect compliment to full schedule of performing arts.
THE SBPC is an active, dynamic organization, with over 100 members, who enjoy gathering for a variety of programs and activities.
