Community at The Mann Center

The Mann Center of North Carolina strives to be a community champion for the city of Sanford, Lee County, and the surrounding region of Central North Carolina. Our long-standing non-profit tenants such as the American Red Cross,  the Girl Scouts, and the Helping Hand Clinic provide valuable services and resources to the citizens and families our our community. In a partnership between the Salvation Army and Central Carolina Community College, individuals are given the opportunity to study and take the GED test and earn their high school degree. While providing these non-profits with office locations, The Mann Center is also a leader in the community arts, by providing theater productions and musical groups a place to perform, and other service organizations a place to meet.

The Mann Center has held a special place in the Sanford and Lee County community since the building’s origins in the early 20th century, when it served as a local public school building. Now in our present-day role, we strive to continue to be a pillar to the community’s citizens, families, and local businesses.
